At my core, I love to make things. From an early age, I spent time in my father’s workshop, learning how to use tools and experiment with materials. That hands-on curiosity led me to several semesters in MTSU’s sculpture department, where I refined my skills in wood and metalworking while working as a student aid in the campus shops. These experiences deepened my appreciation for the technical precision and creative problem-solving that sculpture demands.
Sculpture is more than just fabrication—it’s a process of translating ideas into physical form, balancing structure with artistic expression. I find equal fulfillment in both the act of making and the conversations that surround the work. Whether shaping raw materials or exploring artistic concepts, I am always drawn to the intersection of craftsmanship and creativity.
